Process Maps for Fun and Profit!

SCOTT DULECKI - NN, Inc.

Whether you’re dealing with a new implementation or a new employee, you’ve got a common underlying challenge: taking someone who’s never seen the software before and turning them into an expert, proficient in using QAD to do their job effectively and efficiently. If you give them a list of programs and menu numbers, though, you’re not helping them much. Sure, they can parrot back what they’ve been told (assuming they remember) but what will they do when the unexpected (or the less-frequently expected) happens? How do you get them to know QAD as intrinsically as they know basic math? At NN Inc, we’re using QAD’s Process Maps to make life easier for our end users by taking the programs that each user runs every day and making them accessible in one place, based on their role. Join Scott Dulecki to see how NN is making it easy for new users to master QAD.

Reducing Print Costs Without Sacrificing Quality

STEPHEN REESE - Premier Systems

Consolidation of print management devices and support can provide significant cost savings for end users in a tight economy. While reduction of print devices along with outsourcing of ownership thru leases can provide savings, other factors must be considered for additional savings for your enterprise. This presentation will address those issues including toner savings, print policy, department charge-back and security with software that is agnostic to any manufacturers' devices. Typical ROI is six Months or less. No cost pilots can be established to prove ROI for end customers.
