Driving QAD to the Factory Floor

Cascade Engineering, a plastic injection molder, installed their first Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in 1986.  At that time MES was a stand alone system for monitoring uptime, downtime, and production. In 2001 Cascade Engineering started the development of their Manufacturing Operation Data System (MODS) with the goal of integrating it with QAD.  Today the system is integrated with MSW/PSW and EAM.  This presentation will show how Cascade Engineering is using MES to drive QAD to the factory floor.
